The idyllic little town Kastellaun is situated between the rivers Moselle and Rhine and has approx. 5,500 inhabitants. Kastellaun is the perfect starting point for cycling, motorbike and hiking tours to the nearby valleys of Moselle and Rhine. The holiday home offers direct connection to the “Hunsrück-Moselle-Cycle track”.
The holiday home which is situated in a quiet area nearby the lake and close to the town center. There, only a few minutes’ walk away, you find banks, chemist’s and multiple shops and restaurants.
Information leaflets and recommendations for one-day excursions are available in the appartment. We would be pleased to advise you personally on biking, hiking or motorcycle trips (guided motorcycle trips, if required).
We provide a shuttle service for cycle and hiking tours.
The adventure playground nearby the lake offers great fun to kids up to 14 years. For those who prefer swimming, Kastellaun has a public indoor swimming pool „AQUA fit“.
For guests who are more interested in culture, we recommend a visit at the fortress of Kastellaun and the „House of regional history“ where the history of Kastellaun is visualized.
